First, let me say that I’m a licensed optician of 30 years. I also have experience making lenses. I purchased lenses for my Meta Quest goggles from VR Wave two years ago. I was very impressed with the lens quality. So when I bought the Ray Ban Meta sunglasses and saw VR Wave offered prescription lenses for them, I had to give them a try. I chose the single vision, grey photochromic (transition) lenses for the 51mm Wayfarer style frames. Of course, the packaging and presentation by VR Wave is great. They’re protected in their own carrying case, which doubles as a case to protect the original lenses after changing them out. The anti-reflection coating looks pretty good, and the lenses darken in sunlight. But as an optician, the prescription is what matters most. Long story short, the lenses are optically perfect. The PD matched up as well.
I want to give the progressive lenses a try, but I’m unsure how VR Wave handles set heights. So honestly, I’d repurchase these lenses.

Worked as advertised

I have the Rayban Meta glasses. I saw this company on youtube and gave it a shot. Everything was good and easy to installed. What was actually very cool was that I was able to manually type my prescription without an actual certified prescription (they dont require you to upload it) which saved me more money.
I have been using them for 2 weeks already and the prescription is perfect and I love the transition feature when I am on the sun. Definetely worth every penny

Transitions?

The lenses seem to be nice quality, however; they don't seem to darken much in the sunlight. Compared to the videos I've seen of these in the sunlight, this darken very, very little.
